I have my BA in Multicultural Language and Literature (English) from SUNY Old Westbury, and I recently completed my Masters in Elementary Education at Molly College. In my junior and senior year of high school I taught religious education to children preparing to receive their First holy Communion. During my undergraduate and graduate programs I spent numerous hours observing and actively participating in elementary school classrooms. I remember what it was like struggling in subjects in elementary school and I know that with the right guidance and approaching topics from a different point of view, the student can learn, understand and retain the information given.
