Experience
I attended New York University where I acquired my degrees in history and anthropology. While at New York University, I tutored a variety of students in a number of different subjects. However, I have spent the most time tutoring the subjects of reading, writing, and history. I also have spent some time working at a local community center in New York City, particularly in the thriving area of Manhattan. While there, I taught composition and comprehension.I believe that learning about different cultures and different people is extremely fascinating. I want my students to also be fascinated by these topics. While tutoring, my main goal is to have my students fully comprehend the material they're being taught. It's amazing how much they can learn through the subjects of history and literature. Learning is not simply memorizing material. Instead, it is fully mastering and grasping the material. My main goal is to assist struggling students in their comprehension and writing. In turn, the knowledge of these two subjects will help them in other courses and in other areas of life. In my free time, I enjoy talking about sports and going to the park. I currently reside in Valley Stream, New York.
